I offer a variety of options based on the needs of YOUR students. Please choose from the following:
Option 1: One week on-site residency presenting and developing dance education knowledge and skills. This includes expoloration of the dance elements, Body, Energy, Space, and Time, creation of dances based on the developmental needs of your students, exposure to historical leaders in dance, and development of skills used to critique dance works. This is a good choice if your students have never had a dance education experience in the classroom.
Option 2: 1-2 week "tried and true" dance integration lesson specific to your grade level standards. This option provides your students with lessons that I have used throughout my career in K5 -3rd grade classrooms. The first week is spent exploring and developing dance education skills. Then, during the second week, students can easily participate in dance integration activities.
Option 3: 1-2 week residency built from scratch. Prior to the residency dates, I meet with a grade level and we design a standards-based dance integration unit of study specific to the needs of your students.
Option 4: Professional development for teachers sharing the BEST template which I created for using dance in a classroom.
**All options come with year-long access to me via Zoom or Google Meet.
